1. Overview These Terms of Service outline the conditions under which Saltbush Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnosis (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis and related services (“services”) to clients (“you”).
By booking, attending, or participating in a session, you agree to these terms.

2. Nature of Services Saltbush Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnosis provides strategic psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis designed to support psychological wellbeing, emotional regulation, and behavioural change.
Our services are: Therapeutic and educational in nature. Not a substitute for medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment; andN ot claimable under Medicare or private health insurance.I f you are under the care of a GP, psychologist, or psychiatrist, please inform us so your care can be appropriately coordinated.

3. Client Responsibilities You agree to: Provide accurate and complete information in your intake form; Inform us of any changes in your mental or physical health that may affect treatment; Attend sessions on time or provide notice if rescheduling is required; Use any therapeutic resources, recordings, or exercises responsibly and privately. You acknowledge that results vary between individuals and depend on your engagement with the process.

4. Confidentiality Your privacy and confidentiality are protected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Information shared during sessions remains confidential except where: You provide written consent to share information; Disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, child protection, court order); or Information is discussed anonymously in professional supervision for clinical support. Client files and records are securely stored and must be kept for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with Australian privacy and record-keeping requirements. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data storage and confidentiality.

5. Session Fees and Payment Fees are payable at the time of booking or immediately after each session. Payment options include bank transfer, credit card, or approved online platforms. Any promotional rates or package pricing will be confirmed in writing before commencement.F ailure to pay may result in session cancellation or suspension of further bookings until payment is received.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling We understand that unexpected situations arise.Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled at no cost. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment or a no-show may incur a full session fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Frequent cancellations may lead to discontinuation of services. Refer to the Cancellation Policy for full details.

7. Telehealth Sessions Saltbush Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnosis offers online sessions via secure platforms.
By participating in telehealth, you agree to: Ensure a quiet, private environment free from distractions; Maintain a stable internet connection; and Take reasonable steps to ensure your safety and privacy during sessions. Telehealth sessions are subject to the same confidentiality and ethical standards as in-person sessions.

8. Therapeutic Recordings and Materials Any recordings, scripts, or therapeutic resources provided are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission. Copyright in all materials remains with Saltbush Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnosis.

9. Termination of Services Either party may end the therapeutic relationship at any time.
If the practitioner believes another form of care may be more appropriate, a referral to another qualified professional may be offered.

10. Limitations of Liability While every effort is made to ensure safe and ethical practice, Saltbush Psychotherapy & Hypnosis accepts no liability for: Outcomes beyond reasonable professional control; Decisions or actions taken by the client outside of sessions; or Technical issues affecting telehealth delivery. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant session.

11. Feedback and Complaints We welcome feedback to improve our services.
If you have a concern, please contact admin@saltbushtherapy.com in the first instance.
If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) or relevant professional body for independent review.

12. Governing Law Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Acknowledgement By booking or attending a session with Saltbush Psychotherapy & Hypnosis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
