ABOUT SALTBUSHA calm space to actually shift something.
Saltbush was founded on a simple belief, that the right kind of support, applied with focus and care, can change issues that have felt stuck for a very long time.
A different kind of therapist.
I'm Shannon.
Long before I became interested in psychotherapy, I believed the best therapists must somehow have extraordinary insight.
I imagined they knew exactly what to say.
Exactly when to say it.
Exactly which intervention would unlock change.
Over time I realised something very different.
The therapists I admired most weren’t impressive because they had all the answers.
They were memorable because they were completely present.
They listened differently.
Not to reply.
Not to diagnose.
Not to prepare their next clever question.
They listened to understand how another person’s mind had organised itself.
Every behaviour makes sense when you understand the problem it was trying to solve.
My approach is practical, compassionate and grounded.
I bring together advanced strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy and therapeutic training to support clients looking for meaningful and sustainable change.

OUR APPROACH
Our approach is practical,
structured and grounded in how the mind actually works.
Rather than only talking through problems we focus on how your system is responding underneath.
This includes:
Identifying patterns driving stress and anxiety
Understanding how those patterns were formed
Changing how your mind responds in real time
The goal isn’t just insight.
It’s a different internal experience.
THE PRACTICE
You’re managing more than most without pause.
You're capable and you know it.
And still there's a low-level hum that doesn't respond to logic or effort.
A sense that even when things are okay, your brain is scanning for what could go wrong.
That hum isn't about your workload.
More often it's about old beliefs, learnt early on, things like 'I have to stay on top of everything' or 'it's not safe to slow down.'
They run quietly in the background, and no amount of productivity or willpower touches them.
That's exactly what this work addresses.
Briefly, directly, and without requiring you to spend years in weekly sessions.
Ready to take the first step?
The hardest part is often just reaching out. If you have questions or you're ready to get started, I'd love to hear from you.
I offer a free 15-minute discovery call — a relaxed conversation about what you're experiencing and whether Saltbush is the right fit. No pressure, no commitment.
